Did u try the pork noodle in brickfields. I can't remember the name of the shop for nuts (haha). Looking at ur pics make me miss Malaysia even more. There's nothing like this here. Buka puasa? Buka sendiri at home la. And deepavali? Probably ONLY little india is decorated and feels Indian-like. You don't get the feeling of festive season if you're not around the area. Like, Chinatown during CNY. Little India during deepavali. Geylang during Hari Raya.

hehe. I didn't know Geylang was a malay populated area until my malay friend told me recently.
