The one where babe gets the tan

Set Location : BBQ Double One Restaurant, Puchong

The cast hung over from this morning.

Lead Cast : Char Siew

Supporting Cast : Plain Wantan Noodle

Supporting Cast 2 : Margarine Rice

Co-Director : Stephen "Taiko" Mak

Drama Guru : Esther Mak gives an example of being hungry and bored.

Esther Mak gives an example of being undecided on rice or noodles.

Esther Mak gives an example of a satisfied customer.

Ratings : 4 1/2 stars. Char Siew was above average but a far cry from his performance in Changkat Tong Shin (to be reviewed in due time, pending a suitable director). A full 1 star added just because Margarine Rice made an appearance. Would not have guessed that she would have replaced her sister Chicken Rice in this production. Appearances by Margarine have all this while been limited to a few places in Klang Valley with the likeable Bak Kut Teh. Plain Wantan Noodle was ok, but was capable of making Co-Director, Michael Wong, asking for 2 takes. Roasted Chicken and Sui Gao made appearances as well but managed to avoid promo shots. Sadly, Roasted Chicken performance was amatuerish, off the side walk. Sui Gao performance on the other hand was better, putting on double his weight for his role.

Beefing Up

Set Location : Restoran Ngau Kee, Changkat Tong Shin

Lead Cast : Minced Beef Noodle

Behind all the make-up.

Support Cast : Beef Balls and the gang.

Co-Director : Daniel Yoong, currently assigned to Singapore

Ratings : 4 stars. Just because you can hardly find minced beef noodle performing anywhere else in PJ/KL. The acting was larger than life (ie very big) even for a large order. The support cast was good but lacking in quantity. A larger cast would have been great to complement the main cast. This production would have set you back RM5 per person.
